ABC Teachers is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Special Education Needs School.

About the role

Responsibilities: Providing individualized support to students with special educational needs, and assisting in academic, social, and emotional development.

Tasks: Offering one-on-one or small group support, aiding in academic tasks, social interactions, and behaviour management.
Transitions: Assisting students during transitions between activities and classes for a seamless experience.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Have a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce.
Be confident in your abilities and skills to promote happy and confident learners.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

two years experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs
