ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with prior experience supporting pupils of primary age with SEN in the Wednesbury area, this will be as part of a hybrid role to cover from January 2025.

About the role

Supporting a pupil in key stage 1 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom, offering them one to one support.
Initially working as a long-term supply staff member, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate at the start of the spring term 2026.
Full-time hours, from 08:30 to 15:30.

The role will be based at a two-form entry school in the Wednesbury area.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant - Wednesbury you will:

Have prior experience working effectively with students with additional needs.
Have a genuine passion for building strong relationships with pupils to support their development.
Be able to commit to full-time work
Ideally hold a Teaching Assistant qualification, although this is not compulsory with the right experience.
Provide references from your most recent and relevant employment.
Possess, or be willing to obtain, an up-to-date DBS check registered with the Update Service.
