You will play a key role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment. You will build trusted relationships and help pupils overcome barriers to learning through consistent, calm, and trauma-informed support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting learners aged 11–16 who may present with challenging behaviour or complex emotional needs

• Supporting de-escalation using restorative and therapeutic approaches

• Promoting emotional regulation, confidence, and self-esteem in a nurturing environment 🌱

• Working closely with pastoral teams, counsellors, and external agencies to ensure holistic support

The PRU is a secondary alternative provision in Redditch, offering a flexible and supportive educational setting for pupils who find mainstream education challenging.
