ABC Teachers is seeking a Support Worker to work at an SEN Primary School in Coventry on a full time basis.

About the role

A well-established SEN school seeks a passionate, dedicated and attentive Support Worker.

Working alongside a class teacher and a team of experienced support staff to assist with the general day-to-day running of the classrooms.

Building a quick rapport with the students to support students educational, social and emotional development.

The role is full-time and can be ongoing for the right candidate.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Support Worker in SEN Primary School you will:

Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism and looked after children.
Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

2 years experience in a relevant field
