ABC Teachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Kidderminster, starting January 2026 📅. This is a full-time role supporting children and young people from primary through to post-16 with complex and profound learning needs.
About the role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, personalised support to pupils with a wide range of special educational needs ❤️. Working closely with teaching staff and professionals, you will help students access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:

Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN or educational setting
- Experience supporting individuals with complex or additional needs
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach 💛
- Relevant qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care, or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (desirable but not essential)
- The ability to provide suitable references and successfully obtain an enhanced DBS check ✅
- Experience in SEND setting
