We’re looking for a caring, proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary SEND school in Lichfield. You’ll be part of a team that delivers a bespoke curriculum, tailored to pupils with a wide range of additional needs, helping every child grow at their own pace.
About the role
Supporting the class teacher in creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment
• Providing 1:1 support to pupils with diverse learning profiles and communication needs
• Leading small-group activities and nurture sessions designed to build confidence and independence
• Gaining valuable experience across a variety of needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to complex learning needs

Requirements
- You have experience working with children with additional or special educational needs
- You’re approachable, patient and able to build positive relationships
- You communicate clearly and respond calmly to behaviour and emotional needs
- You can provide suitable references and are willing to complete an enhanced DBS check
- Experience in SEND setting
