ABC Teachers are seeking subject specific tutors to support the delivery of the national curriculum to students who have additional needs.
About the role
Within the role you will be delivering pre-set work to students, you will be there to conduct the class and alongside the support staff manage the classroom behaviors. You will need a strong understanding of Mathematics as a subject area, and adaptability skills to explain concepts to a range of audiences. A willingness to learn is essential and how to use feedback in a positive and constructive way is necessary.

The school is a nurturing environment for students unable to engage in mainstream education, who may have additional needs to be considered when supporting them in the classroom. The leadership team are committed to the learning of students and foster a firm but fair approach, you will be working with a wider team of staff who aim to enhance students' learning experiences and prepare them for life outside of education.
Requirements
- A degree in Mathematics or related subjects, or experience of tutoring Mathematics to students in line with the national curriculum.
- A DBS Check, or willingness to undergo a DBS check.

- Proactive approach to work.
