About the role
ABC Teachers is currently recruiting for a dedicated and knowledgeable Computer Science Supply Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Solihull from September 2025. This is a long-term, full-time position, with pay in line with the M1 – M6 pay scales.
The role:

Teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Computer Science

Full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment

Long-term role beginning September 2025, with potential to become permanent

Requirements
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Have recent experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to student progress
- Be confident managing classroom behaviour and engaging a range of learners
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Computer Science i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
