ABC Teachers are seeking compassionate, patient and adaptable Teachers to join our SEN supply register, supporting a range of specialist SEN schools across Coventry and Birmingham.

About the role

This role is primarily focused on schools supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Supply opportunities are available on a day-to-day, short-term and long-term basis, offering flexible work while allowing you to gain experience across a variety of specialist settings.

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver highly differentiated lessons, support communication and sensory needs, and work closely with support staff to ensure pupils are engaged, safe and supported throughout the school day.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Supply Teacher - Coventry/Birmingham based you will:
  • • Be confident differentiating learning to meet a wide range of abilities
  • • Demonstrate patience, empathy and excellent communication skills
  • • Be committed to safeguarding and supporting pupils with complex needs
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • • Have experience working with pupils with MLD, SLD, ASC or PMLD, or a strong desire to develop this experience
