ABC Teachers are seeking a skilled and dedicated Complex Needs Teacher to work within a school in Birmingham.

About the role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of teaching and learning, supporting pupil progress, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
You will also provide calm, consistent support to pupils with autism and other complex needs, helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Mark and assess student work, providing clear feedback to support progress
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Model respectful, inclusive behaviour and contribute to a classroom culture where every student feels valued, heard, and respected.

Requirements
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour, SEMH or ASC.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
