About the role
We are looking for confident, classroom-ready Cover Supervisors who can step into a variety of secondary school settings and maintain excellent behaviour management while delivering pre-set lesson plans. If you’re passionate about supporting students’ learning and want flexible, consistent work in the Stoke-on-Trent area, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure a safe, productive learning environment.
- Uphold school behaviour policies and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and progress.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
- A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- A passion for education and a flexible, proactive attitude.
