About the role
ABC Teachers is looking to recruit a committed and dynamic Long-Term History Supply Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Harborne. This rewarding position is to start as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension.
The Role:

Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching History at secondary level
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for inspiring students and a commitment to their progress
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach History i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
