Do you believe in second chances and the power of education to transform lives?
About the role
The Warwickshire Academy is a specialist school dedicated to supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We provide a nurturing and highly structured environment where students who may have faced significant challenges in mainstream education are given a second chance to thrive.
Our school is built on strong relationships, mutual respect, and a trauma-informed approach. We follow a student-centred model that values emotional literacy and personal development as much as academic achievement. Staff at The Warwickshire Academy are deeply committed to transforming lives through patience, consistency, and purpose-led teaching.
About the school
We are seeking a resilient and compassionate Teacher to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position for a qualified teacher who can inspire students, deliver well-structured lessons, and promote both academic and emotional growth.
You will work closely with other staff and external professionals to ensure students are safe, supported, and challenged in a way that suits their individual learning needs. -
Contribute to whole-school initiatives, policy development, and the wider life of the school
-
Communicate effectively with families, carers, and external agencies
-
Participate in CPD, appraisal, and the professional development of colleagues
-
Provide occasional cover and contribute to subject leadership if appropriate
-
Support students pastorally throughout the day, including during unstructured times
