ABC Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic client school in the heart of Selly Oak as a Male PE Teacher.
As a Male PE Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring and motivating our students to lead active and healthy lifestyles. You will deliver engaging and dynamic PE lessons that cater to students of varying abilities and interests, ensuring that all learners have the opportunity to excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
- Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities and events
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the PE department

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching PE at the secondary level
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Physical Education
- Passion for promoting physical activity and well-being among young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach PE i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
