About the role
ABC Teachers is looking to recruit a dedicated and engaging History Supply Teacher for a full-time, long-term role at a successful secondary school in Hall Green, starting in September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Humanities teacher who is enthusiastic about delivering outstanding History lessons and making a real impact in the classroom.
Responsibilities:

Teaching History to KS3 and KS4 students

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History or Humanities
- Recent experience teaching History in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom management and a proactive teaching style
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting the development of all pupils
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach History i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
