ABC Teachers is recruiting for a passionate and knowledgeable Religious Studies Supply Teacher to take on a long-term teaching role at a welcoming secondary school in Yardley, Birmingham. Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum.

Encourage student discussion and respectful debate around a variety of beliefs and worldviews.

Plan, prepare and assess pupils’ work to support academic progress.

Contribute to the wider school ethos and department planning.

Uphold high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Previous experience teaching Religious Studies at the secondary level.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for Religious Education and inclusive teaching practices.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach RE i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
