About the role
ABC Teachers is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Social Science Supply Teacher to join a respected secondary school in Edgbaston on a long-term, full-time basis from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver subjects such as Sociology, Psychology, and Citizenship at Key Stage 4 and potentially Key Stage 5.

Requirements
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Social Sciences at secondary level (KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for teaching and learning in the humanities and social sciences
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Social Science i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
