You will be working within different provisions for students who have Moderate Learning Disabilities, Behavioral challenges and Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. These settings offer a tailored approach to education, focusing on individualized learning plans and therapeutic interventions to address specific barriers to learning. In Alternative Provision schools, educators work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide a holistic approach to support, emphasizing social and emotional well-being alongside academic progress. By creating nurturing and inclusive environments, these schools empower students to overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve their full potential in both their academic and personal development journey.

• A PGCE in a relevant subject, in addition to Qualified Teachers Status
• Experience working with students who have Moderate Learning needs such as Autism, ADHD or Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
• A DBS Check, or readiness to undergo a DBS check.
• An understanding of different learning styles and how to implement individual support in accordance with the child's needs.
• A proactive approach to teaching, with a desire to make learning fun and engaging.
• You must be committed to your work and passionate about education.
