ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Moseley. As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons that inspire students to develop their culinary skills and knowledge about food science.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards and inspires student interest and achievement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting a positive classroom culture.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
• Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

• a suitable qualification to teach Food Technology i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
