About the role
ABC Teachers are searching for a motivated Media Studies Teacher to deliver high-quality education to secondary school students in Bromsgrove. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a creative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver comprehensive media studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Engage students with innovative teaching methods and practical activities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the media studies curriculum.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Degree in Media Studies or a related subject.
- Experience teaching media studies at the secondary school level.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for media and the ability to inspire students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Media Studies i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
