Are you passionate about Humanities and looking to inspire young minds? ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Humanities Subject Specialist (history, Geography, RE) to join our team as a Cover Supervisor in Stoke-on-Trent.
About the role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering pre-set work in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Ensure a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Support students with their learning and address any immediate issues or concerns.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to the overall school community.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Humanities Subject specialist you will:
- A degree in a Humanities-related subject (History, Geography, Religious Studies, etc.).
- Previous experience working with secondary school students is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A passion for education and inspiring young people.
- Flexibility and adaptability in various classroom settings.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- A degree in a Humanities-related subject (History, Geography, Religious Studies, etc.).
