About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking enthusiastic Day-to-Day General Cover Supply Teachers to join us to work in our client Secondary Schools in Acocks Green and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver High-Quality Lessons: Provide engaging and effective teaching across different subjects and year groups, following lesson plans where available.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive learning environment, ensuring all students are focused and on task.
- Adaptability: Quickly adjust to different school environments and curricula, making a positive impact on students’ learning experiences.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience for students.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of General Cover Supply Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must hold QTS/QTLS.
- Experience: Previous experience in a teaching role, preferably within a similar setting.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and deliver lessons confidently.
- Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in students’ lives.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a suitable qualification to teach i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
