ABC Teachers are proud to offer an exciting opportunity for individuals to gain valuable experience and knowledge to be a Cover Supervisor. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided. Cover Supervisors are essential to the smooth running of ABC Teachers and the Secondary Schools we work with. The responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor include leading lessons of an average class size in absence of the class teacher. Lessons will be pre-prepared and you will not be expected to plan, mark or assess. We are looking for confident, adaptable and motivated individuals to successfully facilitate learning to students and manage classroom behaviour effectively.

The Secondary Schools we work with are friendly and welcoming to new staff. Staff who are successfully able to create a positive impact to the school are often asked for on a regular or long-term basis, this may also lead to permanent roles. They have a strong team ethos and will endeavour to support you in your development. There is on-site parking and nearby public transport links to many of our schools, making them easily accessible.

• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
