Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Music Teacher to join our vibrant and dynamic team at ABC Teachers. We work with well-regarded secondary schools in and around the Stourbridge and local area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop their musical skills and foster a love for music.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Organise and lead extracurricular music activities, including school concerts, performances, and music clubs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a creative and inclusive music curriculum.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in music education and integrate them into your teaching practice.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Music or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching music at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the UK music curriculum.
- Ability to play and teach a range of musical instruments is desirable.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Salary depends on number of days worked and full responsibilities of the role.
