About the role
ABC Teachers are currently recruiting experienced teachers who are seeking the flexibility of general cover teaching. This position will enable you to work with a range of schools within Derbyshire supporting them when faced with staff absences and sickness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Management: Effectively manage and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Curriculum Delivery: Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Adaptability: Quickly adapt to different school settings and confidently teach a range of subjects.
- Assessment: Provide constructive feedback and assessment to support student progress.
- Professionalism: Uphold a high standard of professionalism and positive representation of ABC Teachers.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of General Cover Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Hold a valid QTS,
- Experience: Proven experience teaching in secondary schools.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different school environments and year groups
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability: Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in fulfilling assignments.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Hold a valid QTS,
