About the role

ABC Teachers is seeking experienced and passionate General Cover Supply Teachers to join our team and make a positive impact on secondary schools across the area.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering engaging and effective lessons across various subjects.
Providing general cover for absent teachers.
Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
Adhering to school policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of General Cover Teacher you will:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching in secondary schools.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

a suitable qualification to teach i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
