ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a dynamic Secondary School in Solihull. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in inspiring and educating students, fostering a love for the English language, and helping them achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Assessment and Feedback: Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Implement effective strategies to address individual learning needs.

• Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.

• Professional Development: Stay updated on educational best practices, participate in professional development opportunities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the English department.

• Parental Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree in English or related field.
• Experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
