About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable General Cover Teachers to join us as we continue to support the network of schools in the Dudley area. As a General Cover Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of education for students during staff absences. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced educators and newly qualified teachers looking to gain diverse experience across different educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects, following the curriculum and lesson plans provided.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback where necessary.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as required.
- Uphold the school’s policies and ethos, contributing to the overall school environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching across different key stages is advantageous.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work flexibly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student development.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of General Cover Teacher you will:
- PGCE to teach any secondary school subject area
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- PGCE and experience in teaching in UK Secondary Schools
