About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking a dynamic Sociology Teacher to join our team in Worcestershire. The school are looking for a motivated and experienced Sociology Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to secondary school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Sociology lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Sociology principles and possess the ability to inspire and educate students from diverse backgrounds. The school is located in an easily accessible location, with on-site parking and nearby transport links. You will be joining a supportive and collaborative department, who work together to shape children's futures.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Specialisation in Sociology or related field.
- Proven experience teaching Sociology at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Sociology i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
