About the role
ABC Teachers are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Long-Term Science Supply Teacher. If you're enthusiastic about inspiring students and fostering a love for science, then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive science lessons to students across various age groups and abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student progress and achievement.
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and educational standards.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities as required.
About the school
You will be working at an established Secondary School who are part of a supportive and nurturing Trust. The school are looking for someone who can slot into their friendly Science department and make a difference.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Science Teacher you will:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic educational environment.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a suitable qualification to teach Science i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
