About the role
ABC Teachers are currently seeking a dedicated Maths Supply Teacher to join our client Secondary School for a temporary to permanent position. If you're committed to delivering engaging Maths lessons and making a difference in students' lives, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that cater to a diverse range of students' needs and abilities.
- Create a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Maths.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Maths i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
