ABC Teachers are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maths Teacher to work within the Think Differently contract in Birmingham.
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential? Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our pupils.
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Maths Teacher to join our team, delivering high quality maths education to students with a range of special educational needs, including medical and mental health needs. This role requires a teacher who can plan and deliver accessible, engaging, and differentiated lessons that meet students at their point of learning, often in small group or one-to-one settings.
You will play a vital role in helping students build confidence in numeracy, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve meaningful academic outcomes. Many of our learners have experienced disrupted education, so a nurturing, patient and flexible approach is essential.
This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to join a passionate team making a tangible difference in the lives of pupils who require innovative and adaptive approaches to learning. Our curriculum is broad, flexible and personalised to meet the specific needs of each pupil, aligned with key skills from the National Curriculum while supporting transitions back into educational settings. We are equally committed to staff development and wellbeing, fostering a culture where professional growth is supported and valued.
About the school

Our ethos at James Brindley is to “Think Differently” — creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where young people are at the heart of all we do.
