About the role
ABC Teachers are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Supply Teacher for a long-term position in Frankley, Birmingham. The successful candidate will have a strong background in History education, excellent classroom management skills, and a commitment to delivering engaging lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality History lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialisation in History or relevant subject area.
- Experience teaching History at the secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach History i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
