About the role
ABC Teachers are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Female PE Teacher to join one of our client Secondary Schools in Worcester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about Physical Education and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Implement engaging and interactive teaching methods to promote student participation and learning.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the Physical Education department and school community.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour.
About the school
You will be working in a warm and friendly PE Department, with access to a range of quality resources to enhance teaching practice. The school are part of a Trust who endeavour to create a supportive and collaborative working environment for staff to work in. The school is on scenic grounds, with on-site parking.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Female PE Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Physical Education.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for promoting physical fitness and well-being.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- Experience working with children and young people in an educational setting is desirable.
- Commitment to upholding safeguarding policies and promoting a safe learning environment for all students.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a suitable qualification to teach PE i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
