About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated Supply English Teacher to join our team and support local secondary schools. If you're ready to inspire students with your love for English and want to enjoy the benefits of flexible teaching, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
- Adapt to different school environments and classroom settings.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.
- Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback.
- Support schools with lesson planning when necessary.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
- Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Adaptability and the ability to quickly integrate into different school environments.
- A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach English i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
