Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons, with a specific focus on Food and Textiles, to inspire and motivate students.
- Utilise creative teaching methods and resources to facilitate hands-on learning experiences and foster students' practical skills.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students, ensuring inclusive and accessible education for all.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development, incorporating new technologies and industry trends into teaching practices.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic and personal growth.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Specialism or substantial experience in Food and Textiles within the Design and Technology discipline.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and build positive relationships.
- Effective classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Dedication to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in Design and Technology education.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach DT i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
