ABC Teachers is seeking a motivated and resilient Behaviour & Engagement Mentor to join a specialist SEMH school in Coventry. This Behaviour & Engagement Mentor role suits someone energetic, proactive and passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
About the role
The Behaviour & Engagement Mentor will support pupils with SEMH needs by promoting positive behaviour, building strong relationships and helping re-engage learners in education. The successful Behaviour & Engagement Mentor will provide consistent, calm and structured support throughout the school day.

- Support behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils

- Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Behaviour & Engagement Mentor you will:
- • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- • Salary dependent on experience, training and qualifications
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- • Experience working with SEMH, behaviour or mental health
- • Sporty/active background desirable
- • Calm, resilient and confident approach
- • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- • Patient, consistent and passionate
