As an Art Teacher with ABC Teachers, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the vibrant world of art. You will deliver high-quality art education across key stages, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging art lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Developing students' artistic skills, techniques, and appreciation for various art forms.
• Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity.
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enrich the art curriculum and contribute to the school's artistic community.
• Participating in extracurricular activities, art exhibitions, and other school events as required.

The school are looking for someone to help them with their long-term cover needs in a friendly and warm department. There is a strong team ethos at the school and students with positive attitudes to learning. The school is situated in the heart of Solihull, with on-site parking at the school and nearby public transport links.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Specialisation in Art Education or relevant subject area.
• Proven experience teaching art at the primary or secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and contemporary practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Passion for education and a commitment to fostering creativity in students.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

• a suitable qualification to teach Art i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
