ABC Teachers is currently in search of a Teaching Assistant for a full-time position at a further education SEN School located in Dudley. This role offers an immediate start with the potential for ongoing employment for the right candidate.
About the role
- The Teaching Assistant will play a pivotal role in assisting students to reach their maximum potential.
- Collaborating closely with a class teacher and an experienced support team.
- Engaging with students in further education who possess a range of special educational needs, notably profound multiple learning difficulties.
- Initially, a full-time position commences in April, with the possibility of continuation for the ideal candidate.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- • Have a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce.
- • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
- • Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Two years supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
