About the role
As part of your responsibilities, you will be tasked with providing personal care, assisting with educational activities, and supporting the overall well-being of students with Complex Care Needs. Collaborating closely with staff within the school, you'll ensure that students’ educational, social, emotional, physical and mental health needs are met.

The broad-spectrum school has students with complex care needs who make up a specialized sector within the educational landscape, whereby the school needs to be catering to students with often profound and multifaceted needs. The school serves individuals age 11+ who require extensive support due to medical complexities, cognitive impairments, or physical disabilities. Unlike traditional schools, Baginton Fields are equipped with expertise and resources to support a wide range of conditions and learning styles. They offer a holistic approach, integrating academic instruction with therapeutic interventions, medical care, and life skills training. Requirements
- Experience in providing personal care and supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), preferably in a school setting.
- A DBS Check, or readiness to undergo a DBS check.
- A compassionate and patient approach towards supporting students with complex needs.
- Dedication and commitment to fostering student well-being and progress.
- A proactive stance towards their profession and responsibilities.
- Strong adaptability skills to cater to varying student needs and learning styles.
- Experience working with children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties
