ABC Teachers are recruiting Sports Coaches who have experience working with children or adults with learning needs.
About the role
- You will be covering a combination of general and PE pre-set lessons across KS3/KS4, with children aged from 11 - 16 years.
- You will be expected to supervise and manage classrooms during the short-term absence of teachers by delivering pre-set lessons. You will need to manage student behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- You will be supporting students with special educational needs
Requirements
As the suitable candidate you will:
- Have a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce.
- Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.
- Be confident in your abilities and skills to promote happy and confident learners.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a suitable qualification for working with children and experience working with special education needs.
