ABC Teachers are currently looking for teaching assistants with previous experiences working in SEN roles to work as a teaching assistant on a 1:1 basis to start from the beginning of the new academic year.
About the role
- Supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a Primary school setting.
- Starting as a long-term supply staff but with the potential to become a permanent member of staff for the right fits.
- Full time with hours from 08:30-15:30.
- Roles to commence from September 2024.
About the school
This will be located at a one-form entry primary school in the Walsall area, with an inclusion bank for any pupils needing the additional support which is where a lot of the role will take place.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have to have previous experience working with children with SEN.
- Not be afraid of getting stuck in with a demanding but rewarding role
- Be able to commit to full-time work.
- Not need a teaching assistant qualification if you have previous similar experience to reference.
- Provide references from your most recent and relevant employment.
- Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered with the update service.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
