ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Stone on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Science Teacher seeking stability, professional development, and the chance to make a real impact on students’ learning.

About the role

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is looking for Physics specialist ideally but open to specialists in Biology, Chemistry, and welcomes applications from ECTs through to experienced teachers (M1–M6).

This long-term position offers consistency, strong departmental support, and the opportunity to become an integral part of the school community.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Inspire and engage students of varying abilities
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Science Teacher you will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
  • Hold or willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS chaeck
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
