About the role
As a Long-Term Maths Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for mathematics, and ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential. You will be expected to plan, mark, and assess students’ work, creating a stimulating learning environment that challenges and supports all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
- Support students in their academic and personal development, preparing them for exams.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Maths Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4, with a proven track record of success.
