ABC Teachers are looking for teaching assistants in and area the Coventry area, who have either relevant qualifications or referenceable experience in child-based roles.
About the role
You will be able to have the opportunity to assist in lesson learning and occasionally lead activities to help the class teacher. This can also include a range of support options in large groups, intervention groups and on a 1:1 basis. This allows the chance to gain valuable new experiences in a primary education setting.

Located in Coventry and surrounding areas, we have a number of 'Outstanding' schools that are always in need of long term and day to day support staff.
Requirements
- To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will: • Have a DBS that is registered on the update service or be able to arrange one. • Be able to secure references to cover the last two years. • Have at least 2 weeks of relevant, school based work. • Be a welcoming influence on the classroom and individual’s learning. • You will also need to give feedback to the class teacher on this learning. • Be able to form meaningful working relationships with both staff and students.
- • At least 2 weeks relevant experience of being a Primary Teaching Assistant on a voluntary or paid basis. ABC Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
