ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Primary Teacher with prior experience in a key stage 2 setting to help cover the full time Class Teachers across Year 5 and 6 at a primary school in Dudley.
About the role
The role is full-time Monday to Friday starting in September for the full academic year.
This role includes the following:
- Working in a full class teacher role planning, presenting and assessing lessons and pupil progress.
- Working on a full-time basis in a class based in the Key Stage 2 setting.
- PPA time will be allocated within these hours as well as support with planning, meaning extra-curricular work is left to a minimum.
- This will be long term cover starting from the 2nd September and lasting until the end of the academic year.
About the school
The school are seeking a professional teacher who can hit the ground running and commit to their dedicated KS2 Team for the foreseeable future.
The school work closely with ABC Teachers and have done for some time, so you will have a good support system in place.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Key Stage 2 Teacher - September Start you will:
- Be able to work confidently with children from Upper KS2.
- Be a reliable and hard-working individual with a passion for pupil progression.
- Have the ability to alter your teaching methods to suit the different abilities across both year groups.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Hold valid QTS and have prior experience working within Key Stage 2.
- Be able to obtain reference from a teaching role.
- Hold a DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
- Have proof of Right to Work within the UK.
