About the role
ABC Teachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supply History Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact in secondary schools across Finstall and the surrounding areas.
As a Supply History Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and interactive History lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Follow the school’s curriculum and ensure a high standard of teaching and learning.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Adapt to different school environments and work with a diverse range of students.
- Support student's academic progress and foster a love for History.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of History Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching History at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
- Strong knowledge of the History curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in different teaching environments.
- A passion for History and a commitment to student success.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a suitable qualification to teach History i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTL
