About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our dynamic Design & Technology department from This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will have a strong subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning in Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire students to develop their practical skills and understanding of nutrition, food preparation, and healthy lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Food Technology
• Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback
• Contribute to the development of the DT curriculum
• Create a safe and stimulating learning environment in line with health and safety guidelines
• Participate in school events and wider extra-curricular activities

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
• Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• A creative and innovative approach to teaching
