About the role
As an Experienced Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning during teacher absences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising whole classes during short- and long-term teacher absences
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students to stay focused and on task
- Providing feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders

Requirements
- Have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school-based role
- Be confident managing classrooms in secondary schools
- Have strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
- Be reliable, professional, and adaptable
