About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking a qualified and committed Design and Technology Supply Teacher for a long-term role at a well-regarded secondary school in Northfield. This position is to start immediately or from the next half term and will continue on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent appointment for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and innovative DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with national curriculum expectations

Create a positive learning environment that promotes achievement and creativity

Manage classroom behaviour effectively and support the wider school ethos

Contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for design and innovation in education
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Design and Technology i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
